ACERBIS ROUND OF ITALY: CREMONA DEBUTS IN WORLD SUPERBIKE CHAMPIONSHIP

The first time is never forgotten, and the Cremona Circuit made its official entry on the Motul FIM Superbike World Championship calendar, with Acerbis as Title Sponsor of this historic moment. 

From Friday, September 20 to Sunday, September 22, the dream came true and the event saw Acerbis among the protagonists. Not only for the naming of the tenth stage of the championship, the “Acerbis Round of Italy,” on a renovated circuit, but also for the opportunity to give its sales network, employees and guests a truly special experience.

The track, located half an hour from Cremona, in San Martino del Lago, with a length of 3,768 meters, welcomed thousands of fans, all ready to support the two-wheel champions. After eleven years since the last time in Lombardy (when they competed in Monza), Acerbis returned with all its soul and passion, coloring the Cremona Circuit yellow.

The weekend was crowned by Danilo Petrucci's (Barni Spark Racing Team) victory, a moment made even more exciting by Franco Acerbis' award ceremony.

Congratulations also to Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing Team) and Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing Team).
