The Acerbis chain guide provides impact resistance thanks to its high-strength plastic material.
It is made of two pieces: the body and the slide. The slide is replaceable when worn.
The 2-piece construction also means the chain does not have to be disassembled when mounting the guide or replacing the slide.
The controlled-elasticity construction of the guide absorbs shock and minimizes damage to the chain and sprocket; it also reduces oscillatory shaking of the chain.
It is easily applied on the original housings on the swingarm.
